If you needed any confirmation of Steve Walsh's abilities to discover diamonds in the rough when scouting for talent, just ask Leicester City fans, who will forever be indebted to their former assistant manager for his recruitment work at the club which played a major role in their historic Premier League title triumph, last season.
Walsh, now the Director of Football at Everton, brought the likes of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, Christian Fuchs and N'Golo Kante to the King Power Stadium, before departing for Goodison Park in July.

Now, with the January transfer window approaching, Walsh is set to work his magic again, with Charlton Athletic's teen sensation Ademola Lookman set to seal a £10m move to the Toffees in the coming days.

The 19-year-old forward has represented England at U19 and U20 level and has seven goals to his name, this season. He has been rapidly become one of the most coveted young talents in England, which will no doubt delight Everton fans and Ronald Koeman when Lookman finally puts pen to paper on a deal at Goodison Park.
Lookman's arrival could ease the goal scoring burden on Romelu Lukaku at Goodison Park, although it would be unfair to expect the 19-year-old to shoulder too much responsibility so early on into his career with the Toffees.

Ronald Koeman is also hoping to wrap up deals for Manchester United duo Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay next month.
