It seem tied on that Romelu Lukaku will not be an Everton player next season, following the Belgium striker's impressive form during a dreary season for the Toffees. Although his next choice of location will come as a surprise to many.
The Express are reporting that Lukaku feels as though he has 'unfinished business' at Stamford Bridge and is eyeing a return to Chelsea, the club who deemed him surplus to requirements and sold the striker to Everton for £28.5m last season.
Lukaku has been vocal in the past about wanting Champions League football, which makes his desire to play for a team not in next season's tournament all the more bemusing, especially given the number of Champions League clubs who have been linked with his signature over the past year.

Should Chelsea decide to bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge, he could cost them as much as £65m, after the Blues failed to insert a favourable buy back clause into the deal that took Lukaku to Goodison Park in 2014.
