Liverpool fans have spotted what Darwin Nunez did on Instagram in unusual move

Darwin Nunez’s social media activity has got fans talking.

Darwin Nunez’s latest social media activity has got Liverpool fans talking.

On Sunday afternoon, Liverpool put their recent poor run of form behind them as they produced a brilliant display against Tottenham Hotspur.

Goals from Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliott sealed a 4-2 victory at Anfield.

Son Heung Min and Richarlison were the scorers for Spurs.

However, it was Nunez whom Liverpool fans talked about after the match.

The Uruguayan was brought on in the 75th minute for Luis Diaz but again drew criticism after a disappointing cameo.

On Sunday night, it was spotted that Nunez had deleted all of his Liverpool-related pictures from his Instagram account.

The 24-year-old, who arrived from Benfica back in the summer of 2022, has largely struggled in front of goal and is often guilty of missing huge chances.

Speaking in March, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp stated that Nunez has ‘quality coming out of his ears’.

He said: “He had absolutely more than an OK first season but he had to adapt, that's done, and he is settled in the middle of the team.

“He loves to play for this team together with these boys and has quality coming out of his ears, to be honest.”

Klopp added: “Is he at his absolute peak in general? Not now for us. But can he develop? Yes. Is he a threat all the time? Yes.”

On the back of their win over Spurs, Liverpool have now cemented third place in the Premier League table.

Speaking about the victory, Klopp said: “I really like the way the boys played, I liked the individual performances, how we played together – so many good things today. Yes, conceding two, ask Ali – he is really not happy about that.

“But it was a really good football game, and I think that's what everybody should expect from us – results as well. We delivered both. And the moments, how I said, I think they are a little bit explainable, should not happen anyway, but didn't count really today.”
