Liverpool fans have had enough of ONE player despite beating Tottenham 4-2.

Liverpool returned to the win column in the Premier League as they beat Spurs 4-2 at Anfield on Sunday.

Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliott all got on the score-sheet as the Reds secured three points.

Even though Liverpool won, fans online took aim at Darwin Nunez, who entered the fray in the second-half.

Nunez replaced Luis Diaz and was unable to make a huge impression as supporters bemoaned his lacklustre showing.

He fluffed a chance on the break and was flagged offside when he set up Salah.

His performance angered Liverpool fans on social media as they made their feelings known.

One X user wrote: "Darwin Nunez. The patience is slowly starting to be lost."

A second tweeted: "60 seconds that sum up Darwin Nunez. Absolutely messes up a 2-on-1 break, and then, even though he actually plays the correct pass, is offside on another."

A third slammed: "Uncomfortable conversations need to be had about Darwin Nunez, he’s cost us in the run in, can’t stay on side and hasn’t delivered as a £75 million striker, he simply doesn’t fit, time to get rid."

A fourth added: "I don’t rate Darwin Nunez anymore. I was wrong about him."

Another commented: "I’m not letting Darwin Nunez ruin for me what has been a great performance up until he came on."

Nunez has played 51 games across all competitions this season, scoring 18 goals.

He has 11 league goals to his name this campaign as some fans are still not convinced with their £85 million forward.
