German goal machine Mario Gomez is finding himself in high demand, this Summer, following his announcement that he would not be returning to Besiktas due to the current political unrest in Turkey.
Besiktas spokesman Metin Albayrak confirmed that both Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona are in talks with the Germany international, who spent last season on loan at the Turkish club from Fiorentina.
"We're monitoring his situation closely but we know that he is in serious talks with Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund. Obviously he is difficult for us."
West Ham are also believed to hold an interest in the former Bayern Munich striker, too but Albayrak poured cold water on those reports by stating that Slaven Bilic has no interest in the forward, "I spoke with Slaven Bilic on the phone this morning. He said that they're not interested with Mario Gomez."

Whoever ends up securing Gomez's signature for next season, not only are they getting one of the most dead eyed finishers in European football, but possibly the finest head of hair on the continent, too.
