Real Madrid may have just taken a giant step towards signing their latest Galactico.
And, if the reports are to be believed, it's going to be their priciest one yet.
MARCA are reporting that a world record fee of £161 million has been agreed between Los Blancos and Monaco for the signature of teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe.

While there is no word from either club regarding a potential deal, yet, the news is gathering pace since MARCA broke the story.
Real have recently parted with James Rodriguez on a two-year-loan deal to Bayern Munich and also brought in £58 million by selling Alvaro Morata to Chelsea, so have freed up attacking space in Zinedine Zidane's first team squad as well as some extra finances to fund a world record breaking move for the French striker.
Mbappe shot to prominence last season, scoring 26 goals in 44 matches, helping to inspire Monaco to the Ligue Un title as well as a place in the Champions League semi-finals.
The 18-year-old rapidly became one of the hottest properties in world football, being linked with moves to all of Europe's major clubs. However, if the MARCA report proves to be true, it appears as if the Spanish and European Champions have won the race for the France international's signature.
