Manchester United have agreed a €75 million plus bonuses deal for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to reports in Italy.
The Red Devils have been linked with the midfielder on several occasions in the past two summers but according to the reports in La Repubblica the deal is now nearly done, with the Serbian signed as a replacement for the reportedly outgoing Paul Pogba.
Earlier this month Pogba's agent Mino Raiola told The Times that his client was ready to leave Old Trafford, saying, "Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are."

Since then the Frenchman has been linked with both Real Madrid and Juventus though manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refuted suggestions that he could be leaving.
However the latest reports say that Lazio midfielder Milinkovic-Savic, who has also been linked with a move to Juventus in the past, is the direct replacement for Pogba.
Spanish paper AS go further to say that the Serbian's move to Old Trafford will be confirmed once Pogba is 'dressed in white,' as they expect the World Cup winner to move to the Bernabeu.
The initial reports say that the club are close to a five year agreement with Milinkovic-Savic, who moved to Italy in 2015 after a year with Genk.

There's is nothing to say that the 24-year-old couldn't move to Old Trafford if Pogba doesn't leave with Solskjaer clearly after more players in central midfield.
So far this summer the Red Devils have signed Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James and have also been chasing Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.
As well as that they've tried to sign Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff, with the Magpies wanting £50 million, and have been strongly linked to Sporting's Bruno Fernandes.

United were already short of quality in the centre of the park before Jose Mourinho was sacked last December but since then Marouane Fellaini has been sold and Ander Herrera left on a free to PSG.
The signing of Milinkovic-Savic would be a huge statement from the 13 times Premier League winners and could be the perfect replacement for Pogba.
How will United line up on the first day of next season?
