West Ham failed in their pursuit for Alexandre Lacazette, but it seem's like he may still be on this way to the Premier League.

West Ham rivals Tottenham are ready to make their first major signing of the summer by opening up talks with the Lyon striker in a deal reportedly worth £25 million, though will have to pay up and fend off competition from the French Champions PSG who are also keen, according to the Mirror.

Lyon have apparently set a deadline of the end of June to complete any deal, having already rejected a £31 million bid from West Ham.

Despite Harry Kane topping the scoring charts in the league with 25 goals, Pochettino is looking to bolster his attackers while giving competition for the England frontman. The talented Frenchman scored a healthy 23 goals, but, unlike Kane, won't be heading to the Euro's to the dismay of many. The 25-year-old is highly touted among the strikers in Europe, viewed as a poacher with this impressive statistic.

Spurs have set their sights on a new forward amid links with Troy Deeney and even Zlatan Ibrahimovic, still they could pip their London rivals to the signing of Lacazette forming a formidable partnership with Kane.
