Viktor Gyokeres has rejected not one but two lucrative proposals to leave Sporting CP after 'reaching an agreement' to sign for his next club.
Gyokeres has established himself as one of the leading forwards in Europe following his impressive goal-scoring exploits in Portugal.
He scored 43 goals in his debut campaign for Sporting following his transfer from Coventry City before bagging a remarkable 54 goals in 52 matches last season.
The Swedish international has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with several clubs keeping tabs on his situation.

But Arsenal are leading the race to acquire his services ahead of the new season, with Manchester United looking at a new forward as Ruben Amorim had hoped to reunite with him at Old Trafford.
Gyokeres has reportedly split from his girlfriend to remove all ties from Portugal as he seeks to return to England this summer.

He's hellbent on plying his trade in the Premier League, having turned down offers from elsewhere.

According to Portuguese outlet Record, Gyokeres has snubbed lucrative proposals from Saudi Pro League sides Al Hilal and Al Qadisiyah, who were prepared to offer him millions.
Gyokeres' preferred destination is Arsenal, who are keen on recruiting a new No.9 ahead of the 2025/26 season.
He wants a move to the Emirates and is close to nearing a verbal agreement, with his agent Hasan Cetinkaya working on a deal.
The 27-year-old is said to have informed Arsenal that he wants to join them, with sporting director Andrea Berta thought to be leading discussions.

The Gunners, however, are still yet to reach an agreement with Sporting, who have revealed how much it will cost to lure him away from the club.
Gyokeres made his name at Coventry in the Championship, having previously been on the books at Brighton.
He scored 40 goals in 97 games for the Sky Blues before signing for Sporting.
