Barcelona fans are convinced they will sign Kylian Mbappe in summer spending spree after Super League ruling

Barcelona fans have been sent into meltdown after the recent news regarding the European Super League could help them land the signing of Kylian Mbappe.

After proposals back in 2021 were thrown out within 72 hours, a new scheme drafted by A22 Sports Management has indicated how the tournament would work, with Real Madrid and Barcelona once again leading the charge.

Huge brand-new revenue streams would be created for some of football's elite clubs, with the competition expected to gather momentum over the next 12 months.

Barcelona are still in the midst of a transitional period after their finances were dealt a huge blow following the Covid-19 pandemic and were even forced to let go of their best-ever player in Lionel Messi.

However, with new income potentially heading their way due to the ruling on the European Super League helping to clear the club's debts, fans have started to speculate as to which players they could now afford, with one man in particular topping the list.

Doubts over Mbappe's long-term future at PSG have been well-documented over the last 12 months, with Luis Enrique initially choosing to freeze out the France star amid talks he wished to leave the club.

With rumours persisting regarding a potential move to Real Madrid in 2024, it seems Barca fans are now adamant the former Monaco man would choose the Nou Camp over their Spanish rivals, given the mammoth transfer fee they could offer to him.

@Messigain1 wrote via X, formerly known as Twitter: ''Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona is your dream club."

@DaevDavidson added: ''Barcelona will never be broke again. We're going back to our glory days. Mbappe incoming.''

@bravebullet said: ''Fabrizio Romano should start announcing Mbappe to Barcelona fast. We are not wasting time."

@CrackTod posted: ''Mbappe has always been destined to play for Barcelona. Laporta the time has arrived!"

While it remains to be seen where the 25-year-old's future will lie beyond this season, Barcelona fans are certainly more than confident they will see the French international at the Nou Camp sooner rather than later due to their potential improved financial firepower.

Having already scored 21 goals in 22 games already this season, Mbappe could be the missing piece of the jigsaw to restore Barca to their former glories.
