Southampton ask Tottenham for shock player in return as part of swap deal for Tyler Dibling ahead of deadline day

Southampton have asked Tottenham about the availability of one star as a move for Tyler Dibling edges closer.
Ange Postecoglou wants to bring Dibling to North London before Wednesday's deadline given his performances for the Saints this term.
The 18-year-old has four goals and two assists for the Premier League strugglers but Southampton aren't willing to let the teenager talent leave without a fight.
A swap deal has been cited with Ivan Juric now keen one man who has impressed for Spurs' academy sides.

According to teamTALK, Southampton are huge admirers of Spurs youngster Tyrese Hall and they want the 19-year-old midfielder to be involved in the proposed negotiations.
The Saints are staring down the barrel at an immediate return to the second tier after a woeful Premier League campaign.
Hall has now been tipped as a real prospect who could feature heavily for them going forward next season.
The teenager has played 16 times in both the Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy for Tottenham in 2024/25, scoring five times and laying on three assists.
£55million has been touted as the required fee for Dibling - with there still hope Spurs can lure the starlet away from the south-coast.
Juric has been asked on countless occasions what lies ahead for the Exeter-born forward, who has also been linked with a move to Manchester United.
“I think what is best for him is to play for Southampton and keep growing up,” Juric told reporters when asked about Dibling’s future.
“He is still young and he has to concentrate only on training well and playing games. Nothing else.”
German giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also keen on the 18-year-old, with Dibling having struggled with injury in recent weeks.
"Do you know what it is? I don't want to put any pressure on him, but he plays his game like Cole Palmer, doesn't he?" said Dion Dublin when asked about the Southampton winger recently.
"He plays free and easy, and he gets himself into good positions, rolls players and takes the ball well."
Southampton are currently 8 points from safety after their 2-1 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday in the Premier League.
