Rodrygo has made a huge decision after speaking to Xabi Alonso amid reports linking him with a sensational move to Liverpool and Manchester City.
Rodrygo has been the subject of intense transfer speculation this summer.
Arsenal had shown interest but a move at this stage appears unlikely considering their pursuit of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.
But the Brazilian continues to be linked with Man City and Liverpool, who remain in the market for further reinforcements despite signing the likes of Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike.

Speculation over Rodrygo's future intensified when Alonso failed to call upon his services in their La Liga opener against Osasuna on Tuesday.
However, he's expected to get minutes on Sunday when Real resume their league campaign against Oviedo.
That's according to Spanish journalist Javier Rodríguez Pascual, who has revealed Rodrygo's position is now that of a left winger.

Per Pascual, that's what Rodrygo asked for from Alonso. He doesn’t want to play on the right anymore.
The star forward made 54 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring 14 goals.
His 2025/26 campaign is set to get underway on Sunday as a left winger.

And ahead of their second league game of the new season, Alonso fielded questions from the assembled media in his pre-match press conference.
He was asked about Rodrygo, further signings and formations.

On Rodrygo, he said: "Rodrygo? For me, the season is just starting. The Club World Cup had different context. Did I speak with him? Yes, like all my players."

If the 24-year-old does end up leaving the Bernabeu, then Alonso will likely enter the market for a replacement, having not ruled out more signings before next month's transfer deadline.
"Signings? I’m happy with my squad, but we always have to be prepared in case any change happens," he added.
On formations, Alonso explained: "Formations? With just a few games, you have little information, and we have to analyse. We have profiles to play different systems, keeping a clear idea. We can be flexible."
