Manchester United have reportedly named their asking price for Marcus Rashford ahead of the summer transfer window.
Back in January, Rashford, 27, was heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford after falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim.
The United boss omitted Rashford from his playing squad for the derby clash against Manchester City, which led to Rashford declaring his wish to leave his boyhood club.

As a result, the Englishman moved to fellow Premier League side Aston Villa on loan until the end of the 24/25 campaign.
Since playing under Unai Emery, Rashford has managed four goals and six assists in 17 matches across all competitions.
Ahead of the summer transfer window, the forward has been linked with a permanent move to the likes of Villa, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund.

It has now been claimed that United have named their asking price for the 27-year-old.
Man Utd name asking price for Rashford
As reported by The Times, United have set an asking price of around £40 million for Rashford.
It has been suggested that a clause was inserted in Rashford's loan deal at Villa that states if the Midlands club tabled a bid of £40 million, it would be accepted.

However, it has also been claimed that does not mean Villa will have the first option on the player. If other clubs match their bid, they will have equal chances of landing Rashford's signature.
The report stated that Rashford would like to play Champions League football in the new season.
Currently, Villa are just outside the Champions League places as they sit sixth, but are only behind Chelsea on goal difference.
However, Rashford's season appears to be over after he suffered an injury last month.

The Athletic's David Ornstein said at the time: "Marcus Rashford expected to miss rest of season with hamstring injury.
"No surgery + rehab at #AVFC as tests ongoing. #THFC game not totally ruled out but highly likely campaign over & 27yo to focus on getting fit for England games in June."
Villa are back in Premier League action on Friday night when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park.
