Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with another player hours after confirming the signing of Leny Yoro.

On Thursday night, the Old Trafford club officially announced the signing of Yoro from French Ligue 1 side Lille, for a reported fee of £52.18 million.

A club statement read: “Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Leny Yoro has joined the club, subject to registration. The French defender has signed a contract until June 2029, with the option to extend for a further year.”

Upon signing for the Red Devils, the 18-year-old said: “Signing for a club with the stature and ambition of Manchester United so early in my career is an incredible honour.

“Since my first conversations with the club, they set out a clear plan for how I can develop in Manchester as part of this exciting project, and showed a lot of care for me and my family.”

Yoro added: “I know about the history of young players at Manchester United and feel it can be the perfect place to reach my potential and achieve my ambitions, together with my new team-mates.

“I cannot wait to get started.”

Shortly after Yoro’s arrival was announced, it was claimed that United have agreed personal terms with Paris Saint Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano wrote on social media: “Manchester United have agreed on personal terms with Manuel Ugarte. Contract terms discussed, player keen on moving to United even without Champions League football.

“Club-to-club talks continue with PSG, as more clubs also inquired. Same agent as Leny Yoro: Jorge Mendes.”

Aside from Yoro, United have already added Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee to their squad after he arrived from Italian club Bologna in a deal worth a reported £36 million.

However, United kicked off their pre season fixtures in the worst possible way after losing to Norwegian outfit Rosenborg 1-0 on Monday evening. Erik ten Hag's men are back in action on Saturday as they take on Scottish side Rangers.
