Manchester United are reportedly in advanced talks to sign a world class midfielder.
On Wednesday night, the UEFA Champions League quarter-final line-up was finalised.
Liverpool thrashed Galatasaray 4-0 to advance to the next stage alongside Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, who beat Atalanta, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United respectively.
Following Newcastle's 7-2 defeat against Barcelona at the Camp Nou, captain Bruno Guimaraes has been linked with a move away.

According to Reuters, United are 'in advanced talks' to sign Guimaraes, who has produced influential performances for the Magpies. It has been claimed that the transfer fee is around €80 million.
However, the move could be complicated by renewed interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
It has been suggested that Madrid's interest in Guimaraes has been long-standing, dating back to when Carlo Ancelotti was in charge. The Italian reportedly suggested the Brazilian as 'successor to Luka Modric and Toni Kroos'.
The report stated that United see Guimaraes as a replacement for Casemiro, who has already confirmed he will leave Old Trafford at the end of the 25/26 season.
It is believed that Casemiro has urged United to sign Guimaraes due to his experience and leadership.

So far in the 25/26 season, the 28-year-old has recorded nine goals and seven assists in 35 matches across all competitions.
Guimaraes was missing from Newcastle's squad as they crashed out of the Champions League after losing 8-3 on aggregate to Barcelona.
Speaking after the match, Newcastle boss Howe said: "Our defending today was not on a level that it was just a few days ago at Chelsea. It started with the first goal when two players slip and then we concede from a set-play.
"Then the big moment is the penalty. We should be going in at 2-2 with a great feeling. We're very much in the tie, and anything’s possible from that moment. As it is, we're going in on a negative feeling. I don't think we defended the build-up well enough."
Newcastle will be back in Premier League action this weekend when they take on rivals Sunderland at St. James' Park on Sunday afternoon.
