Man United fans are getting excited after watching Sofyan Amrabat’s highlights

Manchester United have been linked with Sofyan Amrabat

A compilation of Sofyan Amrabat’s best bits has got Manchester United fans excited.

Over the last few weeks, United have been linked with numerous players as Erik ten Hag looks to improve his squad ahead of the new season.

Having already signed Mason Mount from Chelsea and Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, United are believed to be closing in on a deal to sign Fiorentina man Amrabat.

According to Moroccan journalist Izem Anass, United are set to sign Amrabat for a reported fee of €30 million and his medical is set to take place soon.

Now, United fans have been reacting after watching a compilation of the 26-year-old’s best bits.

One fan said: “Mount, Fernandes, Mainoo, Casemiro, Amrabat serious depth I’m gonna cry.”

Another tweeted: “Utd absolutely needs him...would be as important as a striker imo...can't put all the workload on Casemiro always.... would be a blockbuster signing considering everything.”

A third fan added: “Casemiro alongside Amrabat in the bigger & difficult games >>”

Someone else wrote: “Criminally under-rated. I don’t know how he fits in exactly at first but can see him being one of the best in the world.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “I rate him highly. Good value for money. An absolute monster of a player and very tenacious.”

Another fan said: “He will become a fan favourite quickly.”

The Moroccan first caught the eyes of many fans around the globe when he impressed during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, helping his country get to the semi-finals of the tournament.

United have had a decent start to their pre-season after winning all three matches against Leeds United, Lyon and most recently Arsenal.

After the 2-0 win against the Gunners, Ten Hag said: “I think it’s very good. The way we played, I was really pleased, how active we were in and out of possession.

“That is the way we want to play and that is the only period of the year you can really work in training and translate it to games without it having consequences.”
