Harry Maguire is close to leaving Manchester United for West Ham

Manchester United have reportedly started to look for a replacement for the outgoing Harry Maguire.

Since the summer transfer window kicked into action, Maguire’s future at United has been one of the main talking points.

On Wednesday morning, it was widely reported that United and West Ham have agreed a fee in the region of £30 million for Maguire.

The Englishman will now begin the formalities to close out the transfer before the Hammers’ opening Premier League match this weekend.

For United, they will be looking around for a replacement for Maguire and could target three players.

Andreas Christensen - Barcelona

The Danish international previously played in the Premier League when he was a Chelsea player.

According to El Nacional via Football 365, United have submitted a bid worth an initial €35million (£30million) plus €15million (£12million) in performance-related add-ons.

Since joining Barcelona, Christensen has produced a series of impressive displays at the heart of Xavi’s defence alongside Ronald Araujo.

Jean Clair Todibo - Nice

23-year-old Todibo has been linked with a move to Old Trafford after an impressive two-year spell with French Ligue 1 side Nice.

Todibo played in 31 of Nice’s 38 matches, keeping 10 clean sheets in the process.

It has been reported that United could face competition from Serie A giants Juventus for the Frenchman’s signature.

Jarrad Branthwaite - Everton

Another young defender has been linked with a move to United, this time in the shape of Everton’s Branthwaite.

The 21-year-old spent the 22/23 season on loan at Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.

According to Football Insider, Everton have placed a £25 million price tag on Branthwaite.

So far in the summer transfer window, United have spent big on the likes of Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund.

United will get their 23/24 Premie League campaign underway on Monday nnight when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.
