Luka Modric has already made his feelings clear on the Lionel Messi GOAT debate amid rumours linking him with a stunning move to Inter Miami.
Modric will call time on his legendary Real Madrid career after the end of their Club World Cup campaign this summer.
The Croatian, who won the 2018 Ballon d'Or, will play his last match at the Bernabeu on Saturday when the Spanish giants host Real Sociedad in their final La Liga fixture of the season.

"The moment has arrived. The moment I never wanted to come, but that's football, and in life everything has a beginning and an end," he said in a statement on social media.
"I arrived in 2012 with the hope of wearing the jersey of the best team in the world and the ambition to do great things, but I couldn't have imagined what came next.
"Playing for Real Madrid changed my life as a footballer and as a person. I'm proud to have been part of one of the most successful eras of the best club in history."
The 39-year-old, who has won 28 trophies since joining Real from Tottenham in 2012, plans to continue his iconic career as he plots the next.

Naturally, there are plenty of suitors, including a shock move back to English football.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Inter Miami have entered the race to secure Modric's signature.
David Beckham's Inter Miami have been keeping tabs on him since last year, with Messi wanting him at the MLS side.
With Modric announcing his departure from Real, rumours surrounding the transfer have 'accelerated'.

It would be a statement signing and would see two legends of the game play together for the first time.
Modric and Messi have come up against each other on plenty of occasions, but they could become teammates next season.

Modric has always held Messi in very, very high regard, having previously called him the 'best player in history', settling the GOAT debate in the process.

"I hope he will win this World Cup, he is the best player in history and he deserves it. He is playing a great World Cup, he shows quality and greatness in every game," he said following Croatia's semi-final defeat to Argentina at the 2022 World Cup.
Of course, Messi went onto win the World Cup as Argentina beat France in the final.
Modric believes Messi is the GOAT despite playing with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real.
