Liverpool reportedly have five more players on their radar after setting sights on Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.
The Reds are the only Premier League side yet to bring in any new players as Arne Slot prepares for his first season in charge at Anfield.
With the new campaign just over a week away, it has been reported that Liverpool are targetting a move for Sociedad star Zubimendi.
It is believed that the Spaniard has a release clause of £51 million in his contract but Liverpool would have to persuade the midfielder to leave his home country.

Aside from Zubimendi, it has been claimed that there are a few other players on the Anfield club’s radar.
According to a report by GIVEMESPORT, Liverpool could look to improve their centre-back and winger options before the transfer window closes.
It is believed that the Reds ‘appropriate’ Wolfburg’s Maxence Lacroix and Benfica’s Antonio Silva.
Before setting sights on Zubimendi, it has been claimed that Liverpool made an enquiry about Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes and also gave some consideration to Atalanta star Ederson.

Lastly, Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon has also been linked with a move to Anfield.
In terms of outgoings, the likes of Fabio Carvalho, Tyler Morton, Bobby Clark, Wataru Endo and Sepp van den Berg have all been linked with a move away.
When asked about new signings during Liverpool’s pre-season tour, Slot said: “I notice that you are focused a lot on new signings! I am focused on the tour, how we played, what we need to improve and what we did well.

“Like I said, the bar is really high for new signings because we have so many good players. It is not so easy to first find a player to meet those standards and then ask, ‘is he available?’.”
The Dutchman added: “Then we have to find an agreement with them, so it is not always easy to find a player who can help us but Richard is working hard on it and let’s see what comes from this.”
