Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich has reportedly decided on the five clubs he would join.

Over the last few seasons, German Kimmich has been one of the most important players at the Bavarian club.

Back in 2015, Kimmich moved to Bayern from RB Leipzig in a deal worth a reported fee of €7 million.

Since then, the full-back turned midfielder has made 390 appearances for Bayern, scoring 42 goals.

Kimmich has also lifted eight Bundesliga titles, one Champions League, one FIFA Club World Cup and one UEFA Super Cup amongst other trophies.

In recent years, the 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from Bavaria.

Now, Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has given an update on Kimmich’s future.

He wrote on social media: “He is advised and supported in the background, but Joshua #Kimmich officially still has no agent!

“Clubs that want him have to call him directly. Only five top clubs are still in consideration for Kimmich. Now or 2025: Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona.”

Plettenberg added: “With about €20m gross per year, he is one of the absolute top earners at FC Bayern.”

Back in April, Kimmich spoke about his future, he said: “At the moment I’m not thinking about this. As I already said, I will speak to Bayern first. But of course, Barcelona and Real Madrid are amazing clubs with an amazing history.

“I want to talk to Bayern. And when I do that, I won’t go out and talk to the press about it. I’m only focused on the two games against Real Madrid.”

He added: “For me, the most important thing is the club, not just the coach. But of course it’s also important to know what the coach thinks about you and the team. Other people in the club worry about choosing the coach.”
