If Jobe Bellingham joins his brother Jude at Real Madrid, he will have to abide by a strict car rule.
Jobe, 19, currently plays for Sunderland, who face Sheffield United in the Championship play-off final later this month, with both clubs vying for a spot in next year’s Premier League.
Like Jude, 21, – currently of Real Madrid – Jobe came through the ranks at Birmingham City before transferring to Sunderland in 2023.

This term, the younger of the pair has made 42 appearances in all competitions, producing four goals and three assists.
And despite potentially having the opportunity to play in the Premier League – something Jude has never done – he could be on the move this summer with several top European clubs reportedly interested in signing the teenager.
Reports from TEAMTALK claim that Real Madrid are ready to battle it out against Manchester United, with the Black Cats’ asking price thought to be around £20m. Jude's former club Borussia Dortmund are also keen.

In September 2024, Real’s Jude told a story about a time when Los Blancos head coach Carlo Ancelotti joked that he had “bought the wrong one” after seeing Jobe score a brace for Sunderland during a Championship match against Rotherham.
"I’ll never forget, as we’re coming out, Ancelotti goes to me, ‘we’ve bought the wrong one’," said Jude.
He added: “Finally, he just gave me a little smile, and my heart dropped. I’m like, 'no pressure for today'.”
Of course, if Jobe were to follow the same path as his brother, he would not be managed by the Italian and would likely be guided by Xabi Alonso, who has been heavily linked with the soon-to-be vacant Madrid coach’s role.

If he moved to the 15-time Champions League winners, Jobe would have to follow a strict ‘car rule’ like his brother.
Since 2022, Real has had a sponsorship partnership with BMW.
As part of the sponsorship deal, Real and BMW 'jointly pursue initiatives in the domains of future mobility, sustainability and diversity'.

It is expected that squad members drive to training in their gifted motors as well as to and from matches and other 'club-related activities'.
