The odds on Cristiano Ronaldo's next club have been slashed after his cryptic social media post.
Ronaldo, 40, became the first big-name player to move to the Middle East after he signed for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr in 2023.
During the 24/25 campaign, the Portuguese legend scored 35 goals and assisted four in 41 appearances across all competitions.
However, Ronaldo appeared to cast doubt over his Al Nassr future on social media.

He wrote on Monday night: "This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all."
This comes after it was teased by FIFA president Gianni Infantino that Ronaldo could play at the upcoming Club World Cup, despite Al Nassr failing to qualify for the competition.
Speaking in a interview on popular influencer IShowSpeed's livestream, Infantino said: "Ronaldo might play for one of the teams as well at the Club World Cup. There are discussions."
When pushed to answer directly if the Portuguese star would be playing in the competition, the FIFA boss replied: "Yeah, Cristiano Ronaldo might play in the Club World Cup, yeah.

"There are discussions with some clubs, so if any club is watching and is interested in hiring Ronaldo for the Club World Cup… who knows, who knows."
It has since emerged that his former side, Sporting Clube de Portugal, are now the favourites to sign him.

As reported by The Playoffs, betting company Bet365 have Sporting at 3/1 to sign Ronaldo, ahead of Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal (5/1) and Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray (10/1).
Meanwhile, The Mirror stated that the likes of Al Ahli, Los Angeles FC, Chelsea and Besiktas are also possible options for Ronaldo should he decides to look for a new club.
Speaking recently, Brazilian Serie A side Botafogo coach Renato Paiva was asked about a potential move for Ronaldo.
He said: "Christmas is only in December. But if he came, you can't say no to a star like that. I don't know anything - I'm just answering the question.

"But, as I said, coaches always want the best. Ronaldo, even at his age, is still a goal-scoring machine. In a team that creates chance after chance, he would be good."
