Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing a Brazilian wonderkid ahead of Real Madrid.
The 23/24 season was one to forget for the Stamford Bridge club after their disappointing performances.
In the end, Chelsea finished in sixth place in the Premier League and also parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino at the end of the campaign.
The Argentine was replaced by former Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca.

Looking ahead to the summer transfer window, it has been claimed that Chelsea are rivalling Madrid for a Brazilian wonderkid.
As reported by GIVEMESPORT, Chelsea are pushing to sign Sport Recife right-back Pedro Lima.
The report stated: “Chelsea have scouts placed in South America and Lima is a player that they have been monitoring all season. Their recruitment team consider him one of the best right-backs in world football for his age group, and there is now an expectation that they will get a deal over the line.
“Chelsea are wary of interest from Real Madrid, who could still move back in for Lima, but they remain confident that they can secure his signature ahead of the Spanish giants. As a result, Maresca's side will be desperate to get a deal over the line as quickly as possible.”

This week Chelsea confirmed Tosin Adarabioyo as their first summer signing.
The defender said: “I’m here to win. I want to win. It’s as simple as that really. I just want to keep working and pushing the team and the club in the direction we want to go in. I’m excited to get going.”
