It's probably fair to say Chelsea have had a ridiculously busy time in the transfer market this summer - and they may yet make another acquisition before Friday's deadline.

The Stamford Bridge squad is scarcely recognisable to just a couple of years ago, with a huge number of ins and outs from Chelsea following Todd Boehly's takeover of the club.

Just this summer players such as Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Axel Disasi, Robert Sanchez, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia have joined Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Even today, they have added Manchester City youngster Cole Palmer to their ranks, splashing out an initial £40m for the prospect.

Those acquisitions have been funded by a large number of departures from Stamford Bridge this summer, as Chelsea have an eye on Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.

Among the squad players sold for notable fees have included Mason Mount to Manchester United, Mateo Kovacic to Manchester City, Kalidou Koulibaly to Al-Hilal, Edouard Mendy to Al-Ahli, Kai Havertz to Arsenal, and duo Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic to AC Milan.

Having made so many signings and done so much business over the course of the past couple of months, you could be forgiven for thinking that Chelsea must surely now be done for this summer.

But this appears to not be the case, just yet.

According to Belgian publication Nieuwsblad, Chelsea have made an offer worth €30 million, or £25 million, for Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa, who has been described as the 'Norwegian Neymar'.

The 18-year-old has been at the Belgian side since 2021, having made the move from Stabæk in his native Norway.

Nusa has four goals in 45 games in all competitions for Club Brugge, and has found the back of the net once in nine games so far this campaign.

The report suggests that should a deal be done, the Norway U19 international would remain with his current side until the end of the season, with Nusa himself wanting to stay with Brugge until then, so negotiations are under way as Chelsea aim to steal a march on other sides who might be interested in the teenager's services.
