Arsenal are reportedly in talks over the sale of a Premier League winner who helped the side win the title and reach the Champions League final last term.
Arsenal will begin the 2026/27 campaign as Premier League champions, having lifted the title for the first time in 22 years in 2026.
Meanwhile, the Gunners came agonisingly close to winning the Champions League in Budapest last month (May), only to lose to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties, with Eberechi Eze and Gabriel Magalhaes missing spot-kicks.
And despite the transfer window not officially opening until June 15, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta are looking ahead to next season.

As reported by Metro, the Gunners are in talks to sell Leandro Trossard, with Newcastle United and Aston Villa interested in the Belgian international.
Trossard, 31, arrived at Arsenal from Brighton in 2023 and has since registered 36 goals and 34 assists in 174 appearances.

The forward, who is contracted to Arsenal until 2027, started 21 Premier League matches for the North Londoners last term and also made 10 appearances off the bench, with his winning goal in the 1-0 victory away to West Ham on May 10 one of the most important strikes in the side's title triumph.
Despite his important contribution last term, Metro reports Arsenal are open to selling the player as they look to bring in a left-sided attacker, with the club currently linked with AC Milan's Rafael Leao and PSG's Bradley Barcola.
Trossard is reportedly of interest to Turkish side Besiktas, as well as Villa and Newcastle, with the Istanbul club having previously attempted to sign him last summer.
Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Juventus are also said to be keeping tabs on Trossard's situation.
But it's not just Trossard who could move on this summer, with three of his Arsenal team-mates also linked with moves away from the club.
On June 1, Metro reported that Arsenal are also open to offers for Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Ben White.
Trossard speaks out on Arsenal future
Speaking after the Champions League final, Trossard was asked whether he'd be at Arsenal next season.
He replied: "At the moment, yes.
"I still have one year on my contract and, hopefully, first we win the Champions League. Then I think next season can be another very nice season.
"Competition is always there. I am not afraid of that. They can bring in whoever they want. I know that I can hold my own."
