Tottenham Hotspur face Southampton today in the opening match week of the new Premier League campaign.

After securing Champions League qualification in the final games of last season Antonio Conte's side will be hoping to keep the momentum going with a win over the Saints.

The North London club have had a strong transfer window, bringing in 6 new players, most notably Richarlison from Everton, Yves Bissouma from Brighton and Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan.

There will be no live stream for the game, but fans can watch highlights on BBC's Match of The Day on Saturday evening.

Andre Marriner will be the referee for the game, and you can read all about the match day officials here.

Tottenham team news

Spurs will be without new signing Richarlison, who is still banned after throwing a flair into the stands during Everton vs Chelsea last season.

Ivan Perisic is a doubt to start the game as he is still nursing an injury suffered in his final days at Inter Milan.

He may, however, make an appearance off the bench.

Yves Bissouma is also unlikely to make the starting eleven due to a slight hamstring issue, but there's a chance he features late on in the game.

Southampton team news

Nathan Tella has been ruled out of the opening game through injury and Theo Walcott is also expected to be absent.
