The 19-year-old made his debut for Atletic, playing a key role in his side's 2-0 victory over Real Murcia on Saturday.

He starred at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, with his individual highlights making for incredible viewing.

The attacking midfielder cut a composed figure and looked extremely comfortable in possession.

He also showed off his range of passing, piercing sublime through balls from the middle of the park.

Torre's stunning showing excited Barca fans online.

One Twitter user wrote: "More playing time and Xavi will have no option but to play him in the first team dynamics."

A second tweeted: "It's actually disgraceful that he isn’t getting game time in the first team."

A third added: "So much quality."

Speaking after the game, Torre dismissed speculation that he isn't keen on the idea of playing for Barca Atletic.

"I am a Barca player and I will play wherever they tell me, I am willing to play with the reserve team when necessary and I will work to play for the first team," he said.

"Despite the lack of training, I worked well during the week and ended up a little tired, but happy with the victory and with the debut at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

"Marquez told me to do what they ask me in the first team. Find the squares, play easily, play forward when you can... There are things to improve, but I’m happy."
