Thierry Henry's savage commentary for Spurs' second goal conceded to Sporting, he mocked it

Thierry Henry rinsed Spurs for the second goal they conceded against Sporting.

Thierry Henry produced a savage bit of commentary for the second goal Spurs conceded against Sporting on Tuesday night.

Antonio Conte's side got off to a winning start in their return to Champions League football last week thanks to a late brace from Richarlison against Marseille.

But Spurs fell to a defeat by the same scoreline in their second outing, with Sporting producing an even later show and notching twice in stoppage time.

Paulinho broke the deadlock with a header in the 90th minute and then debutant Arthur Gomes confirmed the victory with a sensational solo goal.

He absolutely rinsed Emerson Royal down the left, nutmegging him and then rolling the ball through Hugo Lloris' legs just a minute after being brought on.

The goal already made for quite brilliant viewing anyway but it's even better with the addition of Henry's narration.

The Arsenal legend was working for CBS Sports on their Golazo show and spiced up their coverage by mocking Spurs.

"That goal... I don't care if it was against Spurs but look at what he does. Stepover, meg - see you later. Meg, see you later. 2-0, BYEEEEE!"

The studio, which had Jamie Carragher, Alex Scott and presenter Kate Abdo, couldn't help but laugh.

And it was the same for Arsenal fans, who loved their icon ripping their rivals even in retirement.

On last week's show, Henry absolutely lost it when former Spurs and Fulham star Clint Dempsey picked Antonio Conte's side as his dark horses for this season's Champions League.

"I’ll do something different, I’ll pick a dark horse," Dempsey said.

"I’m not biased at all but I think maybe Tottenham.”

Henry was having none of it and quipped, "Shall I leave now, WHAT?!" in disbelief.
