One of the greatest things in football is when youngsters meet their idols and the sheer joy on their face when they are in the presence of their favourite player.
The little kid who became a viral sensation after being snapped in Afghanistan wearing a plastic bag and turning it into a Lionel Messi Argentina shirt, went on to meet his hero in Qatar in December and it was a deeply heartwarming moment.
And there was more magic this weekend involving Messi, this time in the tunnel before Barcelona's game with Real Betis.

TV cameras captured Gerard Pique having a natter with some young mascots before the game and then the young girl at the front realises that because she is at the front of the line, she will be accompanying Lionel Messi to the pitch and her reaction is utterly brilliant.
But her fellow mascots also lose their mind when they discover that Messi will be right next to them.

It was a day to forget to Barca though, as they could only manage a 1-1 draw against Betis and had a clear goal not given despite the ball being a good two yards over the line.
