Life is good for Memphis Depay! After ending his miserable spell with Manchester United in January, the Dutchman is finally fulfilling a glimpse of his undeniable talent with Lyon.

He's since burst onto the scene in Ligue 1 while netting a sensational goal over the weekend, only scoring from 50-bloody-yards out producing a candidate for goal of the season.

Lyon would eventually secure all three points, beating Toulouse 4-nil but still miles adrift of the chasing pack; PSG, Monaco and Nice.

But his old bosses Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho must be wondering where this Memphis was during his 18 dreadful months at Old Trafford.

The Dutch winger seems to be enjoying somewhat of a renaissance since his £17 million switch to Lyon, with his form improving week by week.

In his last six games, he's produced heroics scoring five while creating four. Rebirth.

Memphis is performing so well that he's actually outdoing his former United teammates, since making his Lyon debut. Check out the graphic below:
