Harry Kane's 2017 just keeps getting better, with it being announced today that the Spurs striker finished tenth in the Ballon d'Or rankings.

Kane was announced in the final 30 when the shortlist was revealed and after numbers 30-11 came and went earlier today, he came in at No.10 and is the only Englishman on the list.

The 24-year old, a two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner, scored a total of 48 goals in 47 games 2017 and has established himself as one of the top-level strikers in world football. His inclusion in the top ten is not only a wonderful achievement for a lad who has had quite the meteoric rise, but is also further evidence that Kane has well and truly merited world-class status.

The man once dubbed a 'one-season wonder' deservedly takes his place in the top ten and will surely continue to climb the rankings in years to come.

Only six British players have won the Ballon d'Or over the years, with Michael Owen's 2001 success the most victory. But with the way Kane is going, you'd definitely back him to be the next Englishman to scoop the gong.

Well played, Harry. Keep doing the business.
