Angry fans launch aggressive campaign to STOP Ange Postecoglou from becoming Spurs manager

Tottenham fans don't want Ange Postecoglou to become their next manager.

Tottenham fans have launched a ruthless campaign on social media to STOP Ange Postecoglou from becoming their next manager.

Spurs are on the hunt for a new manager following the sacking of Antonio Conte in March.

Former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann and current Feyenoord boss Arne Slot have been linked with the vacancy ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Not to mention Celtic manager Postecoglou, who has worked wonders in Scotland having won two Scottish Premiership titles during his spell at the club.

His name has popped up as Spurs look to appoint a new manager, but he doesn't seem to be a popular choice among their fanbase.

Furious Spurs fans online have launched a campaign to stop the Australian gaffer from getting the job at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

They made their feelings known on Twitter while other Spurs fans argued against the campaign.

One Twitter user wrote: "Fellow Tottenham Hotspur fans unite as one as we say NO to Angelos Postecoglou!!!!"

A second argued: "Those 'We deserve better' posts for Postecoglou. How do we deserve better??? We're a joke club that no one wants to come within a 100 miles of. We'll be lucky to land the guy."

A third tweeted: "As a Tottenham season ticket holder for 30 years, we can’t have this guy in charge. He’ll relegate us."

A fourth said: "This No to Postecoglou hashtag is hilarious. Why are people so blinded in thinking we are a big club. It’s almost comical. People just think we call Nagelsmann and he joins at a click of a finger. He must be looking at us and laughing."

Another commented: "Ange a huge downgrade on this man. Levy wouldn’t pay the money. Ange is rank."

The 57-year-old still has one more Celtic game to manage this season as his side face Inverness in Saturday's Scottish Cup final.

But it appears the club are resigned to losing him this summer amid growing interest from the Premier League club.

Will Postecoglou be managing in England next season? Watch this space.
