Italian media have made their feelings clear on Joao Felix after his first month at AC Milan following his transfer from Chelsea.

Felix joined Milan on loan until the end of the season during the January transfer window.

The Italian giants paid a £5 million loan fee for Felix, with no obligation to buy the 25-year-old in the summer.

Felix enjoyed a stunning start at Milan, scoring on his debut in his new side's cup clash against AS Roma last month.

But his form has since slumped, with several media outlets in Italy criticising the player's recent performances.

He was branded a 'disaster' after Milan's 2-1 defeat to Bologna, having played from the start.

And Corriere della Sera described Felix as 'the worst on the pitch' after Milan's loss last Thursday.

Felix, who cost Chelsea an initial £42 million last summer, has failed to register a goal or assist in his last five appearances despite starting every game.

After his showing against Bologna, where he played 61 minutes, it was claimed that his teammates were even avoiding him on the pitch.

Corriere della Sera wrote: "He is neither seen nor heard. He doesn't make a single move, even his team-mates avoid him."

Italian journalist Fabio Ravezzani also pulled no punches as he delivered a scathing assessment of the Portuguese forward.

"Everything is going wrong at Milan," he wrote on X.

"Joao Felix is as handsome as he is useless, Malick Thiaw is no better than Fikayo Tomori and taking off Rafael Leao, unless he is injured, is foolish."

Felix scored seven goals in 20 games for Chelsea before signing for Milan, where he has played seven matches in all competitions.

Milan, who were eliminated from the Champions League last month, currently occupy eighth spot in the Serie A table - outside the European places.
