Dele Alli's return to first team action has taken another setback following reports from Como's pre-season.
The former England wonderkid joined Como back in January, signing a 18-month contract after being released by Everton after just one start for the Premier League club.
Dele has suffered significant fitness troubles in recent seasons, with an injury suffered while on loan at Besiktas in 2023 putting the midfielder out until March.
The 29-year-old's Como debut was his first competitive appearance for 748 days, and remains the last time the former Spurs man hit the pitch after not being selected by Cesc Fabregas since.

Dele's debut quickly turned to disaster after his challenge on Ruben Loftus-Cheek was upgraded to a red card by VAR, and things appear to have gotten worse for the Englishman.
According to La Repubblica, Dele was not present when the club returned to Mozzate on July 10th, and instead was training alone in Marbella.
With Como now in Marbella for their pre-season tour of Spain, the report claims Dele has now returned to Mozzate to continue to train alone.
SPORTbible have reached out to Como for comment.

Cesc Fabregas slammed Dele Alli for Como debut
“It was at that moment when Milan went 2-1 up and Sergi Roberto was meant to come on, but I’d prefer to give him another two weeks to train so he can be ready to start against Empoli." Fabregas told DAZN.
“Dele Alli is a player who can score goals, he perhaps didn’t deserve this opportunity because he has only been working with us for two weeks and has a lot to improve. It is a grave mistake, one that we should not see from a player of his experience."

Fabregas added: “It was a clear red card, there’s nothing to be said about that, he left the team down to 10 men during a crucial moment when we were pushing for 2-2. That is the most negative thing about this evening, but we keep going.”
