Cristiano Ronaldo gave three bold views in the past which have now come true following Chelsea's victory in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Enzo Maresca's side claimed their second Club World Cup crown in the first format of the newly-expanded competition after beating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday.
Cole Palmer's brace and summer signing Joao Pedro's goal put the Premier League team three goals to the good before half-time.

And the final was done and dusted when PSG were reduced to 10 men after Joao Neves received a red card for pulling Marc Cucurella's hair late in the second half.
Ronaldo is still playing football at the age of 40 for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, whom he moved to after his second spell at Manchester United ended when his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
The attacker has previously played for Sporting Lisbon, twice at United, Real Madrid and Juventus before heading to the Middle East.
Ronaldo has won five Ballon d'Or crowns throughout his career and claimed the Champions League on five occasions during his time with United and Real.
Ronaldo has won titles in England, Spain and Italy and has been clear about his views on various leagues around the world.
On a previous occasion, Ronaldo made it clear that he felt the Saudi Pro League was superior to the MLS, ruling out the possibility of following in Lionel Messi's footsteps and heading Stateside.

He said: "The USA? No, the Saudi championship is much better than the USA."
During the same interview, Ronaldo added that he felt the Premier League was the best in the world as he ran through all the European top flights and felt there was a lack of quality outside of England.
He said: "Europe lost a lot of quality. The only one that is one of the best is the Premier League.

"The Spanish league lost its level, the Portuguese one is not 'top', the German one also lost a lot of quality."
And speaking last year, Ronaldo felt the Saudi Pro League was better than Ligue 1 in France, with PSG being the only side of note.
Ronaldo said: "Saudi League is better than Ligue 1, of course. France only has PSG. The rest are finished.
"Try to sprint in 38, 39 40-degree weather and see."

And following Chelsea's victory, it could be argued that Ronaldo's claim the Premier League is the best in world is true given an English side has emerged victorious.
PSG won their first Champions League title this year and were runners-up to Chelsea in the Club World Cup final, thus backing up Ronaldo's earlier claim that the Paris side are the only French team worthy of mention.
And after Al Hilal defeated Manchester City in the last 16 phase, while Inter Miami were swept aside 4-0 by PSG, Ronaldo's third view that the Saudi top flight is better than its American counterpart could also be said to be true.
