Roy Keane Hit Jamie Carragher With The Ultimate Insult In Front Of A Live Audience, He Didn't Hold Back

Roy Keane brutally trolled Jamie Carragher during The Overlap live and it had the entire audience in stitches.

Keane and Carragher joined Gary Neville for a live show in Manchester last Thursday and the best bits have been uploaded to YouTube.

One moment saw the trio discuss Manchester United and winning trophies, with Carragher referencing his and Keane's argument about Cristiano Ronaldo in November.

"Brilliant," Keane said after watching the footage back. "Obviously Jamie was wrong. It is about winning cups for United at the moment."

Carragher quickly replied: "You told me Man United had signed Ronaldo to win the FA Cup. That went f***ing well, didn’t it?"

United were dumped out of the FA Cup by Championship outfit Middlesbrough last month and the only competition they can win is the Champions League.

Carragher has been vocal in his criticism of United bringing Ronaldo back to the club recently questioned their motivations for the signing.

That saw Keane state: "[United] are still in the Champions League. You never know," which had Carragher in a fit of laughter.

Keane then joked: "We’ve seen a lot worse teams than Man United win the Champions League…" before giving Carragher a long stare.

The former England international was part of the Liverpool side which won the Champions League in 2005 after coming fifth in the Premier League.

Rafa Benitez's side came from 3-0 down against AC Milan to win the game on penalties in a massive upset.

It's the head tilt that gets everyone. Incredible comedic timing from Keane.

Carragher knows just how great that AC Milan side was, featuring players such as Paolo Maldini, Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo and Andriy Shevchenko.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard produced a monstrous performance on the night and Jerzy Dudek produced a masterclass int the penalty shootout.

Elsewhere on the show, all three men picked their all-time Premier League XI's but weren't allowed to choose any players from the teams they represented.

That means Neville and Keane couldn't choose former Manchester United players, while Carragher couldn't pick any former Liverpool stars.
