Ronaldo Nazario has snubbed Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo when discussing the greatest players of all time.

The Brazilian icon spoke about a "special group" which included some of the best players ever to play the game, but left out the five-time Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo.

Currently, Ronaldo has enough problems to deal with at United - given that Erik Ten Hag has omitted him from the first-team squad following his refusal to come on in the 2-0 win over Spurs this week.

To add insult to injury, he's now been left out of an exclusive list of football legends.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Guardian, where he revealed who he has as the best players of all time.

“I think there is a very, very special group where you have Diego, Messi, Cruyff, Beckenbauer, Pelé, Van Basten, Ronaldinho," said Ronaldo.

"I would include myself. Let the fans say, let them debate it in the bars. But you can’t rank them, can’t compare generations."

Ronaldo Nazario is considered one of the greatest players to ever grace the beautiful game.

He won two Ballon d'Or trophies and two World Cups over the course of his glittering career.

In 1997, he won his first Ballon d'Or award aged 21, a feat that made him the youngest ever recipient of the famous accolade - it's also a record that still stands to this day.

However, his career was sadly derailed by knee injuries suffered during his time with Inter Milan and he retired in 2011 with over 400 career goals.

Speaking of his career, his documentary has just been released on DAZN titled 'The Phenomenon' which covers Ronaldo's stunning career in both club and international football.

It was released on the streaming platform on October 21st and is available to watch now.
