Piotr Zielinski gave side the lead in the 39th minute, with Wojciech Szczesny producing a stunning double save to deny Saudi from levelling just before the break.

Lewandowski wrapped up the points eight minutes from time.

As it stands, Poland sit at the top of Group B with four points on the board, one point ahead of second-placed Saudi Arabia.

They face Argentina in the final game of the group stage round.
