Richarlison Immediately Jumped In To Protect Son Heung-Min, Looked Ready To Scrap

Richarlison and Cristian Romero immediately jumped to the defence of Son Heung-min after Gonzalo Montiel confronted him following a clash during their pre-season fixture.

The friendly game between Tottenham and Sevilla burst into life when Son accidentally elbowed Montiel in the face, opening up a wound.

The Sevilla player left the field with a mouth full of blood and didn't let the incident go away after the referee blew for half-time.

He confronted Son, who shrugged him away. But before the Argentinean could react, he had Richarlison and Romero in his face.

They came to Son's aid, with Spurs' new Brazilian star wasting no time to have his teammate's back.

Richarlison and Romero coming to Son's rescue got fans online talking.

One tweeted: "Don’t start on Sonny. Romero & Richarlison will ALWAYS have his back."

A second wrote: "Romero and Richarlison are basically body guards at this point."

A third added: "Romero and Richarlison being the first ones to back the beef."

As for the actual match, Spurs and Sevilla played out a 1-1 draw at the Suwon World Cup Stadium in South Korea.

Harry Kane opened the scoring five minutes after the break, with Ivan Rakitic equalising in the 64th minute.
