Although the transfer window slammed shut earlier this week, Football League sides can still sign players if they were unattached free agents when the previous window closed.
Some big names are currently without a club, including the likes of Ronaldinho and Robinho but it seems teams are shying away from free agents, with wage bills seemingly a concern.
At the start of the window, players like Emmanuel Adebayor, Kevin Price-Boateng and Jermaine Pennant were all free agents, but prying clubs quickly snapped up the talent available.
