The Transfer Of Tiemoué Bakayoko Has Taken Yet Another Twist

So, about the transfer of Tiemoué Bakayoko.

He continues to do the rounds in the rumour mills with his move to Chelsea yet to be finalised. Reports suggested that Manchester United are preparing to do a 'Romelu Lukaku' and hijack the deal in the last minute.

It appeared the 22-year-old was heading to Stamford Bridge until he underwent the longest medical in football history, and now the deal seems to have hit a snag.

While Chelsea and United slug it out to secure his services, the transfer has taken yet another twist with the player 'liking' the idea of moving to another Premier League club.

That's because Bakayoko has 'liked' a Tweet linking him with a move to Liverpool.

The post in question reads; "Chelsea rejected him, United are hesitating, he's calling everyone, he contacted Liverpool himself."

Chelsea have already lost out on Lukaku to United, it would be disastrous if they failed to sign Bakayoko and even worse if he actually signs for Jurgen Klopp.

Antonio Conte is planning to bolster his side ahead of the new season as they defend the league title, while mounting a challenge in the Champions League after returning to Europe's elite competition after a season without European football.

The Italian boss is hoping to pair Bakayoko with N'Golo Kante with Nemanja Matic reportedly on the verge of moving away from the English champions.

Chelsea snapped up their second signing of the transfer window yesterday by unveiling - in the most cheesiest way - Antonio Rudiger from AS Roma for a believed £34 million.
