Steven Gerrard's Reaction When Alfredo Morelos Was Sent Off Is Priceless

Alfredo Morelos received his fifth - I repeat FIFTH - red card of the season on Sunday afternoon as Celtic went 13 points ahead of rivals Rangers in the Scottish Premiership title race.

The fact that three of those red cards have come in the first half of games says everything you need to know about the Colombian forward's lack of discipline.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has defended Morelos in the past for these confrontations.

But surely even he must be fuming after the club's top scorer elbowed Scott Brown in the Old Firm this afternoon.

Brown, who was spotted laughing at the striker as he departed the field, looked on as cameras quickly panned towards Gerrard.

As you can see in the following pictures, the former Liverpool midfielder could only put his head to his hands as Rangers went down to 10 men.

Odsonne Édouard opened the scoring for Celtic and handed Neil Lennon's men a 1-0 lead at half-time, but an equaliser from Ryan Kent gave Gerrard's side a lifeline.

James Forrest ruined the party in the 86th minute, though, winning the Old Firm with just minutes to play.
