Real Madrid's newest signing Reinier Jesus Carvalho couldn't hold back tears after being presented as an official Los Blancos player on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old Brazilian midfielder has fulfilled a "childhood dream" by joining the Spanish giants, signing a six-year contract with Zinedine Zidane's side in a reported £26 million deal from Flamengo.

Madrid's latest buy was unveiled in a media-filled press conference alongside Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, and it all got too much for the youngster and his family, who looked on with huge pride.

The club's official Twitter account posted footage from the emotional event. Who is cutting onions in here?

In the press conference, Jesus broke down in tears when speaking about his family, as he revealed his delight at signing for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

"It's a dream for me to play for Real Madrid," he said.

"This was a dream for all of my family. This has always been my team and I'll give my all.

"It's the biggest club in the world and there's a lot of pressure, but I'll give my all. I'm very happy to have this opportunity and I'm very grateful to all who have helped me, to my family. My father is my greatest hero."

Jesus also spoke about Kaka, a player he is often compared to when on the pitch.

"Kaká was an idol for me. He was Brazilian, of course, and I always watched him." he said.

"He could arrive into the box and finish and he always had lots of touches. I'm very happy that they compare me to him. I was able to meet him and he told me a few things. He wished me a lot of luck.

"In terms of my style of play, I can play in all positions in attack, on the left, right and centre. Of course, I have things to improve, but I'll give my all."

Remember the name.
