Paul Pogba took a cheeky dig at former teammate Josh King after Manchester United's emphatic 5-2 win against Premier League strugglers Bournemouth.

The French midfielder, who spent a number of years playing with King in Manchester United's youth system before the pair went their seperate ways in 2012, has looked in great form since the restart.

In fact, United have averaged a goal every 24 minutes when Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes have been on the pitch together.

And the former Juventus man certainly made his mark in the clash against Eddie Howe's side on Saturday, spraying sublime passes like this with consummate ease.

Bournemouth did their best to try and stop Pogba's influence in the middle of the park, with one particular picture involving striker Josh King summing up their luck.

The 28-year-old was snapped pulling at the Frenchman's shirt during the game, something that Pogba reacted to after full-time.

He joked on Instagram: "Bro I told you I would give you my shirt you don't have to take it like that hahahah."

As mentioned earlier, Pogba and King spent a number of years playing in Manchester United's academy together before they went their seperate ways.

Pogba joined Juventus on a free transfer, while King left for Blackburn after spells on loan with a number of English clubs including Hull City and Preston.

The pair have kept in touch since and were pictured relaxing together in London, a day after United beat Bournemouth 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium in 2018, alongside another former youth player, John Cofie.

He posted the following picture on his Instagram with the caption: "In London with my bro's"
