England In Fresh Meltdown Over Sterling

Brexit all over again?

England is in a state of new panic because of the state of the Sterling against the rest of Europe. No it's not the economy stupid it's the football! Raheem Sterling is back in the England starting line-up and people are not happy.

Sod 'Brexit' and everything the Euros are what's important for Queen and country right now with Roy Hodgson's men playing Iceland in the final last 16 match tonight and the underperforming Raheem Sterling is back in the starting XI.

Hodgson pulled the Manchester City player off at half-time against Wales after a game and a half of utter tripe by the £50 million man and he was left out altogether against Slovakia but he's back in for the knockout game against Iceland. The manager has picked the same side as the opening game against Russia but replaced Adam Lallana with Daniel Sturridge and people are not happy with the decision to leave out the Liverpool player with the former Liverpool winger starting:

There's literally thousands of tweets like that and it's almost impossible to find a positive one, especially from people who aren't Manchester City fans. So we're going to try and be positive, there's obvious reasons for him to be picked as an actual winger and Roy obviously wants to stretch the play to try and get Kane in behind a compact defence.

But there's no doubt he'll have to improve!
