Jurgen Klopp's latest comments have frustrated Liverpool fans, as it appears as though he won't be bringing in another central defender if a deal for top target Virgil van Dijk is not reached.
Liverpool looked to be closing in on a deal the Dutchman, who is keen on the move, back in June, but the Reds then pulled the plug - apologising to Southampton for the manner in which they approached the former Celtic man, after Saints considered complaining to the Premier League.

The Anfield club remain interested in van Dijk, who has been training on his own at Southampton, but Klopp has alarmed Reds fans by saying he is more than content with his centre-back options.
As quoted by The Telegraph, he said:
"Look out there and tell me five that would make us stronger. Five. Then you win a prize. It's difficult how it is.
"We have four. I don't think we need more. In the moment I'm fine. We are open until August 31. We cannot force the things and we would never get a centre back just because (of the sake of it).
"We have the need, we have some, but you don't take any. It doesn't work. I don't see it [central defence] as a concern."
However, in replies to Telegraph journalist Chris Bascombe's Tweet, Liverpool fans made it clear they aren't happy with the centre-backs Klopp has at his disposal - and a good chunk of them rolled of five centre-backs better than Liverpool's current crop.
Is Klopp just saying the above to show his faith in his centre-backs or is he talking shite?
