Footage of Lionel Messi’s ridiculous first touch goes viral, it was unbelievable

Lionel Messi is back with Paris Saint Germain after winning the World Cup with Argentina

Lionel Messi produced one of the best first touches you will ever see on his return for Paris Saint Germain on Wednesday night.

After inspiring Argentina to a stunning World Cup victory in Qatar, Messi has now returned to club action.

PSG were taking on Angers in Ligue 1 and manager Christophe Galtier named Messi in his starting eleven.

During the warm up, Messi produced a stunning piece of ball control. You can watch the footage below.

It is widely known that Messi is ridiculously talented, but the first touch he produced in the footage was truly sensational.

Fans were quick to react to Messi’s skill on social media.

One said: “What he must have some glue on his feet…”

Another tweeted: “Wow this honestly might be the best first touch I have ever seen, that is INSANE.”

A third fan added: “I’ve been saying that I will keep saying forever this guy is not normal.”

Someone else wrote: “Nah that is seriously not normal.”

Messi continued his fine form from the World Cup as he was involved in PSG opening goal. He played a brilliant ball to full-back Nordi Mukiele, Hugo Ekitike then finished off the move to put the league leaders in front.

In the second half, Messi got himself on the scoresheet in the 72nd minute. The Argentine legend finished off another fine team goal as PSG moved 2-0 ahead.

The victory meant PSG maintain their healthy six point lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table.

After the match, manager Galtier praised Messi’s performance.

He said: “Today again we saw the best player in the world.

“Leo wanted to play, came back physically well and when we have him on the field, we are guaranteed chances. He was able to play the whole match, that's very good.”

PSG are back in action this weekend as they take on Stade Rennes on Sunday.
