Jamie Vardy tells Cristian Romero to "f*** off" in incredible Premier League return

Jamie Vardy was his usual self upon his return to the Premier League on Monday night.

Jamie Vardy capped off a vintage return to the Premier League with a goal and x-rated outburst aimed at Cristian Romero and Spurs supporters.

Vardy, now 37, was initially ruled out Leicester City's first game of the season after struggling with injury.

He was absent for large part of pre-season and only trained four times.

But with a striker crisis for the season opener, Vardy told new boss Steve Cooper he was available a couple of days before the clash in a huge boost.

And he led the line superbly, scoring the equaliser and his 138th Premier League goal in the second half when he headed home from close range.

Fueled by his half-time Red Bull, the former England international put in an incredible shift and was replaced by Stephy Mavididi in the 78th minute.

But not before being his usual pantomime villain self as he slowly walked off the pitch.

The former Fleetwood Town man was seen telling Romero to "F*** off" as he prepared to leave the field of play.

He also happily wound up the away fans, pointing out that they have never won the Premier League and reminding them that he fired the Foxes to the title ahead of the North London outfit in that fairytale 2015/16 campaign.

Vardy scored 24 goals in 36 games, including in eleven consecutive matches to break Ruud van Nistelrooy's record, in a stunning individual campaign.

He's regularly trolled Spurs and even did so at a festival last year when he said they "had no bottle".

Vardy turned down a lucrative offer from the Saudi Pro League to stay with Leicester in the Championship last year and helped them secure immediate promotion, hitting 18 goals in 35 appearances.

He netted twice in the title clincher against Preston North End and proceeded to sign a one-year extension at the King Power Stadium.
