Jamie Carragher has graded every Premier League club in his mid-season report as Manchester United were handed a brutal mark.

The Premier League is almost at its midway point as clubs head into the busy Christmas schedule.

Liverpool currently lead the way ahead of Chelsea, who have emerged as surprise title contenders following the job Enzo Maresca has done at Stamford Bridge.

Title holders Manchester City are enduring a crisis, having already lost six league games this season.

In the bottom half of the table, Man United are struggling for form, with Ruben Amorim drafted in to turn the club's fortunes around.

Ahead of the Boxing Day fixtures, Carragher sat down with Sky Sports to grade every Premier League club so far this season.

And the Liverpool legend pulled no punches as he made his feelings clear, ruthlessly analysing Man United's campaign.

Carragher gave the Red Devils a grade of F and referenced the Marcus Rashford situation, claiming he doesn't see the player's future at the club, citing Amorim's system.

But he spoke glowingly about his old team, issuing Arne Slot's side a grade of A. He would've given an A+ had the Reds not dropped points at home to Nottingham Forest and Fulham.

Forest received the highest grade as Carragher gave Nuno Espírito Santo's team an A+.

Chelsea got an impressive grade of A-, with Carragher highlighting Maresca's impact.

He graded Arsenal's season a C+ and called for Mikel Arteta to sign a world-class 'attacker'.

Man City were given a grade of E+ as Carragher suggested the club are in need of a 'rebuild'.

Every Premier League club graded by Jamie Carragher so far this season:

Liverpool - A

Chelsea - A-

Arsenal - C+

Nottingham Forest - A+

Manchester City - E+

Aston Villa - C+

Bournemouth - A

Fulham - B+

Brighton - B

Tottenham - C+

Brentford - B-
