Bookmakers have slashed odds on Gareth Southgate to become a Premier League manager in a stunning update.
Southgate stepped away from his England post after their Euro 2024 heartbreak.
Two days after losing to Spain in the final, the 55-year-old resigned, ending his eight-year spell as England manager.
Southgate has since been linked with several jobs, including the Manchester United gig when Erik ten Hag was dismissed.
Ten Hag was sacked by Man United in October 2024 and the former Aston Villa defender was strongly linked with replacing the Dutchman.
The club went in another direction as they opted to appoint Ruben Amorim, who was relieved of his duties at the start of the month.
Southgate's name was bandied around once again before Old Trafford chiefs appointed Michael Carrick.
The ex-Three Lions boss has also been linked with Tottenham amid pressure mounting on Thomas Frank, who was appointed last summer.
Spurs are enduring another dismal Premier League campaign following last season's woes in the league under Ange Postecoglou.

According to several bookmakers via Odds Checker, Southgate is the favourite to replace Oliver Glasner at Crystal Palace.
Glasner has come under fire at Palace despite leading the club to FA Cup glory last season.
He delivered an explosive take on Palace selling captain Marc Guehi to Manchester City, throwing his future into doubt.
Chairman Steve Parish was left angered by Glasner's comments following their 2-1 defeat to Sunderland earlier this month and even considered the Austrian's future.

Southgate has emerged as the favourite to take over from Glasner once his contract expires.
At the time of writing, Sky Bet, Paddy Power and William Hill have priced him at 5/1, while bet365 and BetVictor have odds of 6/1.
Southgate already has Premier League experience, having managed Middlesbrough from June 2006 to October 2009.
During his spell in charge at the Riverside, Boro suffered relegation to the Championship.
Oliver Glasner: '100 per cent committed to Crystal Palace'
Glasner says he is '100 per cent committed' to Palace for the remainder of his time as manager of the club.
That's despite announcing he will depart at the end of the season and rejecting a new contract.
Speaking before his side's 3-1 defeat to Chelsea, the 51-year-old said: "I had a very long dinner with Steve [Parish] this week and we talked about the situation not to sell Marc, again the timing and a possible replacement.
"I wanted to explain and it was a very good talk for both of us. I said I will give my best for a great season and Steve and me are still 100% committed."
